ALS Inhibitor
Foramsulfuron inhibits acetolactate synthase (ALS), disrupting branched-chain amino acid synthesis. Highly active on warm-season grasses, making it selectively injurious to bermudagrass in cool-season turf while controlling undesirable warm-season grass weeds when used in pure stands for transition management.

Resistance Management
Medium resistance risk. ALS-inhibitor resistance could develop with repeated use — rotate with herbicides from other HRAC groups. Scout for escapes, particularly in high-use areas.
