Mode of Action

NRAC32

Nematicide — Thioether

Fluensulfone disrupts nematode locomotion and behavior through an incompletely characterized mechanism involving the neuromuscular system of plant-parasitic nematodes. At sublethal concentrations it inhibits nematode movement and host-finding behavior; at higher concentrations it causes irreversible paralysis. Its mode of action is distinct from carbamates, organophosphates, and all other commercial nematicides, providing full cross-resistance independence.

Labeled Nematode Targets

Sting Nematode (Belonolaimus longicaudatus) Root-knot Nematode (Meloidogyne spp.) Lance Nematode (Hoplolaimus spp.) Stubby Root Nematode (Paratrichodorus spp.) Ring Nematode (Criconemella spp.)

Resistance Management

Low resistance risk. Novel mode of action with no known cross-resistance to any other nematicide class. Ideal rotation partner with Indemnify (fluopyram) for comprehensive nematode management programs.
