Mode of Action
ALS Inhibitor
Trifloxysulfuron-sodium inhibits acetolactate synthase (ALS), blocking biosynthesis of branched-chain amino acids (valine, leucine, isoleucine). Susceptible plants cease meristematic growth rapidly, followed by chlorosis and slow necrosis. Absorbed through both foliage and roots with systemic translocation.

Resistance Management
Medium resistance risk due to ALS inhibitor mode of action. Monitor populations for reduced activity, particularly Poa annua. Integrate with non-ALS programs for long-term weed management.
