ALS Inhibitor
Trifloxysulfuron-sodium inhibits acetolactate synthase (ALS), blocking biosynthesis of branched-chain amino acids (valine, leucine, isoleucine). Susceptible plants cease meristematic growth rapidly, followed by chlorosis and slow necrosis. Absorbed through both foliage and roots with systemic translocation.
