Fluopyram 40.0% · Suspension Concentrate (SC)

Fluopyram
Pyridinyl-ethyl-benzamide (SDHI)

CAUTION
Succinate Dehydrogenase Inhibitor (SDHI)
Fluopyram inhibits succinate dehydrogenase (Complex II) in the mitochondrial electron transport chain of plant-parasitic nematodes, disrupting cellular respiration and ATP production. It also exhibits mobility in planta, redistributing through root tissue to create a nematode-suppressive zone. Notably shares its FRAC Group 7 mode of action with several fungicides, so consider resistance implications in dual-use programs.

Low resistance risk in nematode populations. Fluopyram has a novel site of action in plant-parasitic nematodes and no documented field resistance in turf nematode populations. Note: share of FRAC 7 with fungicide active ingredients — factor into overall SDHI rotation programs.
