Ryanodine Receptor Modulator

Chlorantraniliprole activates ryanodine receptors in insect muscle cells, triggering uncontrolled release of calcium from the sarcoplasmic reticulum. The resulting sustained muscle contraction leads to paralysis and death. Its high selectivity for insect over mammalian ryanodine receptors gives it an exceptional safety profile for applicators and non-target organisms.
